The distribution of the etiology of liver cirrhosis was higher for hepatitis C virus 36.2%, alcoholic liver disease 31.2% and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis 23.2% and lower for hepatitis C virus 1.1%, autoimmune hepatitis 7.3% and other causes 1.0% (P < 0.001).
