In s-vascular endothelial growth factor (VAEG)-A positive cases, microvessel density (MVD) was maintained at a low score regardless tumor VEGF-A (t-VEGF-A) expression. In s-VEGF-A negative cases, MVD was influenced by t-VEGF-A expression.
