CTLA4, TIGIT and PD-1 interact with costimulatory molecules on antigen presenting cells (APC). CD25 binds the T cell growth factor IL-2. CD39 converts local ATP to adenosine. The cytokines IL-10, IL-35 and TGF-β have suppressive functions on nearby immune cells.
