FQG is the major negative-regulation target of mTOR. FQG paradoxically down-regulates the expression of mTOR and HIF-1α by Western blot. Then subsequently inhibit the activation of mTOR/p70S6K pathway. mTOR: Mammalian target of rapamycin; p70S6K: P70S6 kinase; FQG: Fu-qi granule; TIMP: Tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinases; HIF-1α: Hypoxia-inducible factor-1 α.
