Vehicle, lansoprazole, or HEEP was administered for 14 d after ulcer induction. Data were collected at the end of treatment. Results are expressed as the means ± standard error of the mean for each group (n = 7-8). Statistical significance was determined using one-way ANOVA followed by Dunnett's test.
