Evaluation of prognostic factors on recurrence after curative resections for hepatocellular carcinoma

Our new scoring system is based on the alpha fetoprotein (AFP) of 100 ng/mL, standardized uptake values (SUVs) on positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT) of 3.5 and relative enhancement ratio (RER) on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of 0.6. We then summed the scores.
