Sham: Normal rats had a laparotomy but not pylorus and forestomach ligation operation; RE: Rats had a pylorus and forestomach ligation operation not treated with drug; Tocopherol: Rats had a pylorus and forestomach ligation operation treated with α-tocopherol (30 mg/kg); and LF extract: Rats had a pylorus and forestomach ligation operation treated with extract of LF (respectively 125, 250 and 500 mg/kg).
