In 2016, the World Journal of Transplantation (WJT) has published the 3rd issue which containing 14 articles contributed by scientists worldwide. Among these comprehensive articles are (1) “Cryptosporidium infection in solid organ transplantation”, a Review by Diana F Florescu, MD, et al from the Transplant Infectious Diseases Program, Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Internal Medicine, University of Nebraska Medical Center, United States; (2) “Hemodynamic monitoring in heart failure and pulmonary hypertension: From analog tracings to the digital age”, a Minireviews by Amresh Raina, MD, FACC, Associate Director, et al from the Cardiovascular Institute, Allegheny General Hospital, United States; and (3) “Pharmacological Tie2 activation in kidney transplantation”, an Original Article by Sascha David, MD, et al from the Department of Nephrology and Hypertension, Medical School Hannover, Germany, etc. We invite you to peruse all 14 articles in this issue, as they present the latest research progress/findings and provide insightful comments in transplantation that will guide basic research and clinical practice in these fields.
