Figure 1 Sustained virological response rates in hepatitis virus genotypes 1/2 patients aged ≥ 65 years and treated with standard of care. Hepatitis C virus variants are classified into at least 6 genotypes (representing the 6 genetic groups defined by phylogenetic analysis). It is well known that the treatment response differs among the different hepatitis C virus genotypes[6]. SVR: Sustained virological response; HCV: Hepatitis C virus.
