Figure 1 Coronal fluid-attenuated inversion recovery weighted image in a 15-year-old male with previous diagnosis of migraine with aura revealed the left parietal lobe arteriovenous malformations. This was suspected based upon a history of slowly evolving prolonged right hemisensory cutaneous aura. Onset of a new condition in migraine simulates the previous migraine attack. Implication of missing or delay in diagnosis of the second condition can be prevented by differential thinking regarding mixed sympotomatology of both conditions.
