Figure 1 Effect of tumor necrosis factor ligand-related molecule 1 (TL1A) signaling across different subtypes of leukocytes. TL1A acts by promoting cytokine signaling, cell differentiation, and proliferation. These effects vary between different subtypes. While TL1A promotes natural killer T cells and T helper Th1/Th17 proliferation, it can also suppress regulatory T cell functions and forkhead box P3 positive expression. Regardless, TL1A is not associated exclusively with any form.
