Abstract
Objective The aim of this study was to analyze the research hotspots and frontiers in the field of autistic traits (AT) between 1997 and 2024. Methods The Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) is used as a data source in the study, analyzing 1,044 academic articles on AT published between 1997 and 2024. The included articles were visually analyzed using CiteSpace 6.2.R4 software, which is used to map keywords and core literature related to AT and to analyze research progress and emerging hotspots in the field. Results A total of 1,044 articles have been included in the analysis, and the total number of articles has demonstrated an upward trajectory. The nations of England, the USA, and Australia are at the vanguard of this body of literature. With regard to research institutions, the University of London has attracted considerable attention as a result of its substantial contributions to the field of AT. The most relevant research is published in the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders. Conclusion The scope of AT research has expanded considerably, encompassing psychology, education, and other disciplines. The research dimensions extend beyond behavioral, genetic, cognitive, and neural aspects to include environmental and hormonal factors. Furthermore, the study population has evolved from twins and the general population to focus on specific groups, such as individuals with psychiatric disorders. This broadening of focus has led to a significant increase in AT research in recent years. In sum, this study provides a comprehensive perspective that can inform and guide further in-depth research on AT.

Abstract
Purpose Arts therapies (ATs) for the treatment of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) has attracted widespread attention from scholars. However, resources, technical, and ethical issues still pose significant obstacles to current research. A collaborative design approach is needed to guide the intervention treatment process involving multiple stakeholders. Therefore, this study focuses on exploring the current status, development and potential value of the collaborative arts therapies (CATs), providing a comprehensive perspective for subsequent research. Methods The Web of Science, PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Cochrane Library were searched for publications up to August 30, 2023, related to the use of CATs for the treatment of ASD. CiteSpace was used to build a knowledge graph to achieve visual analysis of current research countries, institutions, journals, authors, and hot topics. Results A total of 845 articles met the inclusion criteria. In terms of quantity, the USA is the leading country which has the greatest influence in advancing the field. The University of Haifa is the most productive institution. Arteterapia Papeles De Arteterapia Y Educacion Artistica and Frontiers in Psychology occupy key publishing positions. The most central keywords were related to the quality of life of people with ASD. "family", "social robot" and "participation" are emerging topics in the research field. The positive impact of the combination of caregivers, technology and artistic media on enhancing connections between people with ASD and their everyday environment is the focus of current research. Conclusions Research on CATs as an adjunctive therapy for the treatment of ASD is evolving. Providing comprehensive rehabilitation and support intervention for patients with ASD is a key research direction. The research process requires more interdisciplinary resources and technical assistance. Collaboration will be the best way to improve the effectiveness of ATs.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Despite the increasing number of publications on glioma radiomics, challenges persist in clinical translation. AIM To assess the development and reporting quality of radiomics in brain gliomas since 2019. METHODS A bibliometric analysis was conducted to reveal trends in brain glioma radiomics research. The Radiomics Quality Score (RQS), a metric for evaluating the quality of radiomics studies, was applied to assess the quality of adult-type diffuse glioma studies published since 2019. The total RQS score and the basic adherence rate for each item were calculated. Subgroup analysis by journal type and research objective was performed, correlating the total RQS score with journal impact factors. RESULTS The radiomics research in glioma was initiated in 2011 and has witnessed a surge since 2019. Among the 260 original studies, the median RQS score was 11, correlating with a basic compliance rate of 46.8%. Subgroup analysis revealed significant differences in domain 1 and its subitems (multiple segmentations) across journal types (P = 0.039 and P = 0.03, respectively). The Spearman correlation coefficients indicated that the total RQS score had a negative correlation with the Journal Citation Report category (-0.69) and a positive correlation with the five-year impact factors (0.318) of journals. CONCLUSION Glioma radiomics research quality has improved since 2019 but necessitates further advancement with higher publication standards.

Abstract
Objectives To conduct a comprehensive review of the literature pertaining to the broader autism phenotype, the paper endeavors to delineate the key research directions and topics, document the current research trends, and furnish insightful analyses and novel perspectives to foster future advancements in the field, with the aid of CiteSpace and VOS viewer. Methods CiteSpace and VOS viewer are two kinds of software for visualizing citations that is intended to examine academic literature and identify possible sources of knowledge. The Web of Science Core Collection database was used to retrieve articles from 1994 to 2024 that discussed the autism phenotype in general. Following data collection, analyses were conducted using CiteSpace V.6.2.R4 (64-bit) on a number of topics, such as annual publication output, highly cited journals, affiliations with countries and institutions, eminent authors, cited references, and keywords. Knowledge maps, collaborative network analysis, cluster analysis, and strongest citation burst analysis were among the tools used to visualize the data. Results A total of 1,075 articles about the broader autism phenotype were found. Roughly speaking, the annual number of publications is rising. With 546 articles on the subject, the United States is the nation with the greatest amount of authority and influence (centrality of 0.32), with England (218 articles) and Canada (115 articles) coming in second and third, respectively. The cited journals and institutions are mainly from the United States. The research consistently emphasizes the academic achievement and engagement of broader autism phenotype when analyzing the most cited references and authors. Conclusion This study used CiteSpace to analyze the state of the larger autism phenotype field and then identified research frontiers and hotspots. As new findings are made, global trends in more thorough studies of the autism phenotype suggest that interest in these studies will only grow.

Abstract
Research on the use of optical coherence tomography (OCT) in acute coronary syndrome (ACS) has increased in recent years. However, a comprehensive analysis of the trends and hotspots in OCT research is currently lacking. The objective of this study was to identify global trends in research on OCT in ACS from a bibliometric perspective and to provide researchers with new research hotspots. Relevant literature from 1998 to 2023 was retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection. CiteSpace and VOSviewer software were used to collect and analyze publication trends in related fields. A total of 965 publications from 58 countries and 1389 institutions were included in the present study. We found that Japan produced the most publications (20.83%, 201), followed by the United States (19.90%, 192), and China (14.09%, 136). However, the United States has the highest total number of citations in this field. Harvard Medical School and Harbin Medical University had the highest numbers of publications and citations. The journal with the most publications was the International Journal of Cardiology. Plaque erosion, calcified nodules, and intracoronary imaging are the most recent research hotspots and frontiers. Our work summarizes 25 years of OCT research in the ACS, highlighting hotspots, key themes, and emerging frontiers to help guide future research.

Abstract
Thermostability is considered a crucial parameter to evaluate the viability of enzymes in industrial applications. Over the past 31 years, many studies have been reported on the thermostability of enzymes. However, there is no systematic bibliometric analysis of publications on the thermostability of enzymes. In this study, 16,035 publications related to the thermostability of enzymes were searched and collected, showing an increasing annual trend. China contributed the most publications, while the United States had the highest citation count. International Journal of Biological Macromolecules is the most productive journal in the research field. Moreover, Chinese acad sci and Khosro Khajeh are the most active institutions and prolific authors in the field, respectively. Analysis of references with the strongest citation bursts and keyword co-occurrences, magnetic nanoparticles, metal-organic frameworks, molecular dynamics, and rational design are current hot spots and significant future research directions. This study is the first comprehensive bibliometric analysis summarizing trends and developments in enzyme thermostability research. Our findings could provide scholars with an understanding of the fundamental knowledge framework of the field and identify recent potential hotspots and research trends that could facilitate the discovery of collaboration opportunities.

Abstract
Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) is a prevalent lung disease in neonates that is associated with numerous complications and high mortality. The promising approach to treat BPD is the use of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), However, the current treatment of MSCs presents safety concerns, including occlusion of blood vessels and tumorigenicity. In this study, relevant publications from the Web of Science Core Collection were downloaded in January 2023. The acquired data were analyzed and predicted for trends and hotspots in this field using CiteSpace software. Results revealed that in recent years, the focus of co-cited references has been primarily on the clinical studies of MSCs and the application of MSCs derivatives for treating BPD models. The keywords that have gained attention are extracellular vesicles and exosomes. The United States has emerged as the most influential co-authoring country in this field. Among the co-cited journals, the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine holds the highest influence. Thus, this study provides trends in publications, collaboration, research interests, and hotspots, and provides clues for novel ideas and strategies in to further MSCs treatments for BPD.

Abstract
Orthotic treatment has been the primary nonoperative treatment for patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS), however, no bibliometric study has been conducted in this field to date. Therefore, this study aims to analyze potential trends and new advances in the field of orthotic treatment of AIS through a bibliometric analysis and visualization study. Relevant literature included in the Web of Science database from the start of the database to the 1st month of 2023 was retrieved and analyzed using CiteSpace software (version 6.1.R6). Data on the nations, institutions, authors, journals, keywords, and cited references were collected for each publication. A total of 1005 records were included. The most productive countries and institutions were the USA and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, respectively. Spine was the most influential journal, with the highest number of citations. Hubert Labelle had the most publications, whereas Weinstein was the most cited author. The efficacy of orthotic treatment has always been at the frontier of research. Notably, changes in the quality of life after orthotic treatment, success rate or curve progression, new classification systems, and exercises have been the focus of research in recent years. This study enriches the understanding of research landscapes and key contributors in orthotic treatment for AIS.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE Since its initial report by James Parkinson in 1817, Parkinson's disease (PD) has remained a central subject of research and clinical advancement. The disease is estimated to affect approximately 1% of adults aged 60 and above. Deep brain stimulation, emerging as an alternative therapy for end-stage cases, has offered a lifeline to numerous patients. This review aimed to analyze publications pertaining to the impact of deep brain stimulation on the motor pathway in patients with PD over the last decade. METHODS Data were obtained from the Web of Science Core Collection through the library of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (China). The search strategy encompassed the following keywords: "deep brain stimulation", "Parkinson's disease", "motor pathway", and "human", from January 1, 2012, to December 1, 2022. Additionally, this review visualized the findings using the Citespace software. RESULTS The results indicated that the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and China were the primary contributors to this research field. University College London, Capital Medical University, and Maastricht University were the top 3 research institutions in the research area. Tom Foltynie ranked first with 6 publications, and the journals of Brain and Brain Stimulation published the greatest number of relevant articles. The prevailing research focal points in this domain, as determined by keywords "burst analysis", "encompassed neuronal activity", "nucleus", "hyper direct pathway", etc. CONCLUSION: This study has provided a new perspective through bibliometric analysis of the deep brain stimulation therapy for treating patients with PD, which can shed light on future research to advance our comprehension of this particular field of study.

Abstract
Since the adoption of the Paris Agreement in 2015, different countries have implemented various measures to achieve climate governance. This has attracted significant attention from the academic community, resulting in a rapid increase in climate finance literature. This study conducts bibliometric analysis and systematic review to identify the development trends and research hotspots in the field of climate finance. The empirical findings reveal that climate finance research primarily focuses on environmental science, energy fuels, economics, and finance. However, there is limited coverage of climate finance content in finance journals. Moreover, scholars in developing countries show less interest in climate finance compared to them in developed countries, and there is limited cross-regional collaboration among scholars from developing countries. Finally, this paper analyzes clustering results to identify and categorize the focal areas dispersed across research articles, and provides future directions for the advancement of climate finance.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION The correlation between diabetes and stroke has been studied extensively in epidemiological research. Here, we used bibliometric software to visualize and analyze the literature related to diabetic stroke to provide an overview of the current state of research, hotspots, and future trends in the field. METHODS Based on the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database, we collected studies related to diabetic stroke from 2007 to December 2022. We used CiteSpace (version 6.1.R5), VOSviewer, and Scimago Graphica to create knowledge maps and conduct visual analyses on authors, countries, institutions, cited references, and keywords, and Origin for statistical analysis. RESULTS We included a total of 5,171 papers on diabetic stroke from the WoSCC database. Overall, there was a steady increase in the number of publications, with a high number of emerging scientists. The USA was the most productive and influential country, which dominated national collaborations. The most common subject category was "neurology." In total, 12 major clusters were generated from the cited references. Keyword analysis showed that keywords related to poststroke injury and treatment are those with the highest burst intensity and latest burst time. CONCLUSIONS Individual disease treatment remains a hot topic, and how to balance acute stroke treatment and glycemic control is currently a difficult clinical problem. At the same time, the mechanism of their interaction and the prevention and treatment of related causative factors remain a hot topic of current and future research.

Abstract
AIM This study was conducted to understand the research hotspots, research trends and research frontiers for hypothermia in surgical patients and provide a reference for developing effective measures to reduce the incidence of hypothermia in these patients. DESIGN Using CiteSpace software, a visual analysis of 1288 included articles related to hypothermia in surgical patients was performed. METHODS CiteSpace software is a Java application that supports knowledge research, data visualization and analysis of literature databases. The following data were retrieved: title, abstract, year, keywords, author, academic institution, journal and citations. The included literature was analysed using CiteSpace visualization software, knowledge mapping, collaborative network analysis, cluster analysis and highlighting keywords for visualization. RESULTS A total of 1288 articles related to hypothermia in surgical patients were included, with the largest number of articles published in the United States (448), followed by in Germany (104) and China (102). The top three institutions, journals and authors were from the United States. The most common keywords were perioperative 'hypothermia', 'risk factors' and 'anesthesia'.

Abstract
Objectives To review literature related to first-generation college students, the paper aims to outline the research direction, identify prominent research topics and frontiers, report on current research trends, and offer valuable insights and fresh perspectives for future advancements in the field, utilizing CiteSpace. Methods CiteSpace is a citation visualization software designed to analyze the scholarly literature and uncover potential knowledge within it. This study retrieved articles related to first-generation college students from 2002 to 2022 from Web of Science Core Collection database. After collecting the data, CiteSpace V.6.1.R3 (64-bit) was used to perform analyses on various aspects, including annual publication output, top cited journals, country and institutional affiliations, prominent authors, cited references, and keywords. The data was visualized using tools such as knowledge maps, collaborative network analysis, cluster analysis, and strongest citation burst analysis. Results We obtained a total of 471 articles on first-generation college students. The number of publications annually is increasing, and the number of publications generally shows an upward trend, especially in 2017-2021 with a sharp growth. The United States has the most articles on this topic (395 articles), and it is also the most authoritative and influential country (with a centrality of 0.93). Followed by South Africa (14 articles) and Germany (14 articles), The top 10 cited journals and institutions are predominantly from the United States. When analyzing the top cited references and authors, the research consistently highlights the academic achievement and engagement of first-generation college students. Conclusion This study analyzed the current situation of first-generation college students field via CiteSpace, then identify the research hotspots and frontiers on first-generation college students. Current global trends in first-generation college students researches and the growing public awareness of academic performance and equality suggest that first-generation college students researches will grow in popularity with further breakthroughs.

Abstract
Cancer represents a challenging medical problem worldwide. Several exploratory studies have been conducted to overcome these limitations. RNA vaccines play an important role in cancer prevention and treatment. Recent studies have shown that RNA vaccines play an important role in cancer prevention. However, there are currently no relevant bibliometric studies. This study aimed to apply bibliometrics to summarize the knowledge structure and research hotspots regarding the role of RNA vaccines in cancer. Publications related to RNA vaccines in cancer were searched on the web of science core collection (WoSCC) database. VOSviewers, CiteSpace and R package "bibliometrix" were used to conduct this bibliometric analysis. A total of 1399 articles were included, comprising 803 original articles and 596 reviews. The number of studies on RNA vaccines against cancer has been increasing annually. China and the United States were the principal countries of origin of publications. Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, NCI, and Duke University were the main organizations. Frontiers in Immunology is the leading journal in the field. Hot keywords included tumor antigens, lipid nanoparticles, emerging roles, and dendritic cells. This is the bibliometric study to summarize the research trends and development of RNA vaccines for cancer. This information will provide a reference for researchers studying RNA vaccines against cancer.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Since severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus (SFTSV) was first reported in 2009, a large number of relevant studies have been published. However, no bibliometrics analysis has been conducted on the literature focusing on SFTSV. This study aims to evaluate the research hotspots and future development trends of SFTSV research through bibliometric analysis, and to provide a new perspective and reference for future SFTSV research and the prevention of SFTSV. METHODS We retrieved global publications on SFTSV from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) and Scopus databases from inception of the database until 2022 using VOSviewer software and CiteSpace was used for bibliometric analysis. RESULTS The number of SFTSV-related publications has increased rapidly since 2011, peaking in 2021. A total of 45 countries/regions have published relevant publications, with China topping the list with 359. The Viruses-Basel has published the most papers on SFTSV. In addition, Yu et al. have made the greatest contribution to SFTSV research, with their published paper being the most frequently cited. The most popular SFTSV study topics included: (1) pathogenesis and symptoms, (2) characteristics of the virus and infected patients, and (3) transmission mechanism and risk factors for SFTSV. CONCLUSIONS In this study, we provide a detailed description of the research developments in SFTSV since its discovery and summarize the SFTSV research trends. SFTSV research is in a phase of explosive development, and a large number of publications have been published in the past decade. There is a lack of collaboration between countries and institutions, and international collaboration and exchanges should be strengthened in the future. The current research hotpots of SFTSV is antiviral therapy, immunotherapy, virus transmission mechanism and immune response.

Abstract
Background The mitochondrial unfolded protein response (UPRmt) is a mitochondria stress response, which exerts a crucial role in maintaining mitochondrial proteostasis during stress. However, there is no bibliometric analyses systematically studied this field which could comprehensively review research trends, evaluate publication performances and provide future perspectives. Methods Articles investigating UPRmt published between 1994 and 2021 were downloaded from the Core Collection of the Web of Science (WOS). CiteSpace and VOSviewer bibliometric software were applied for bibliometric and visual analyses. Results A total of 2,073 papers researching UPRmt were retrieved. According to the published number of papers, the field of UPRmt research has gone through its infancy (after 2000) and rapid growth (after 2021) phases. The United States and China contributed the most to UPRmt research. Regarding the distribution of institutions, Harvard University was the most influential institution. The most prolific authors are Johan Auwerx and CM Haynes. PLoS One is the most extensive journal in the field of UPRmt research, while the Cell Death and Differentiation journal had the greatest impact among the most-authored journals. Moreover, biochemistry/molecular biology, and cell biology are the largest subject areas. UPRmt research is mainly categorized as UPRmt, transcription, endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, lipotoxicity, mitophagy, inflammation, skeletal muscle, hypoxia, apoptosis, mitochondrial dysfunction, neurodegeneration, mitochondrial permeability transition, and integrated stress response. Conclusions At present, research on UPRmt is booming. Further strengthening the cooperation and exchanges between countries, institutions, and authors in the future will surely promote the development of this field.

Abstract
This study aimed to perform a bibliometric analysis of the IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) research field over the past 20 years to explore its research hotspots and trends. The literature of IgG4-RD published in the Web of Science Core Collection databases was reviewed from January 1, 2003, to April 30, 2022. A bibliometric analysis was carried out using CiteSpace software to evaluate and visualize the evolving dynamics and hotspots in the field of IgG4-RD. A total of 3174 IgG4-RD articles were reviewed. Since 2011, there has been a rapid increase in published literature. Japan is the highest yielding country and Kanazawa University the highest yielding institution. The USA has the highest centrality (0.34) and plays a critical role in cooperation and communication of IgG4-RD research. Nine highly connected clusters of IgG4-RD were observed by keyword analysis. Research hotspots included IgG4-RD involved organs and differentiation from Rosai-Dorfman disease and primary sclerosing cholangitis. Further research topics include pathogenesis, relapse, and malignancy. As a cross-discipline systemic disease, IgG4-RD requires attention by clinicians in multiple fields. This bibliometric analysis can help researchers grasp trends and provide new perspectives for future research on IgG4-RD.

Abstract
Background It is reported that insulin resistance widely exists in non-diabetic patients with a recent history of transient ischemic attack (TIA) or ischemic stroke. There is currently strong evidence to prove the bidirectional effect of glucose metabolism disorders and stroke events. Therefore, it is necessary to retrospectively tease out the current status, hotspots, and frontiers of insulin resistance and ischemic cerebrovascular disease through CiteSpace. Materials and methods We searched the Web of Science (WOS) for studies related to insulin resistance and ischemic cerebrovascular disease from 1999 to April 2022, then downloaded the data into CiteSpace to generate a knowledge visualization map. Results A total of 1,500 publications relevant to insulin resistance and ischemic cerebrovascular disease were retrieved. The USA had the most articles on this topic, followed by PEOPLES R CHINA and JAPAN. WALTER N KERNAN was the most prolific author, whose research mainly focused on insulin resistance intervention after stroke (IRIS) trial. The most common keywords were myocardial ischemia, metabolic syndrome, ischemic stroke, cerebral ischemia, association, oxidative stress, inflammation, and adipose tissue. Major ongoing research trends include three aspects: (1) the association between insulin resistance and ischemic cerebrovascular disease in non-diabetic patients, (2) the intrinsic pathological mechanism between insulin resistance and ischemic cerebrovascular disease, and (3) early intervention of insulin resistance to improve the prognosis of stroke. Conclusion The results of this bibliometric study provide the current status and trends of clinical research publications in the field of insulin resistance and ischemic cerebrovascular disease. Insulin resistance is strongly associated with the occurrence of ischemic stroke, early neurological deterioration in stroke patients, post-stroke depression, and cerebral small vessel disease. Early treatment of insulin resistance can be an effective way to prevent the onset of ischemic stroke and improve stroke prognosis. This study may help researchers to identify hot topics and explore new research directions.

Abstract
Objectives This study aims to review the documents on dysphagia, summarize the research direction, analyze the research hot spots and frontiers, report the research trends, and provide new ideas for future development in the field via CiteSpace. Methods We retrieved articles on dysphagia published between 2012 and 2021 from the Web of Science Core Collection database. We downloaded the entire data and utilized CiteSpace version 5.8.R3 (64-bit) to analyze the number of publications annually, cited journals, countries, institutions, authors, cited authors, cited references, and keywords. We visualized the data with a knowledge map, collaborative network analysis, cluster analysis, and strongest citation burst analysis. Results We obtained 14,007 papers with a continually increasing trend over time. The most productive country and institute in this field were the United States (4,308) and Northwestern University (236), respectively. Dysphagia (5,062) and Laryngoscope (2,812) were the most productive journals, Elizabeth Ward had the highest number of publications (84), and Logeman et al.'s article (centrality: 0.02) was the most referenced. The most common keywords were dysphagia, management, quality of life, deglutition disorder, diagnosis, aspiration, prevalence, children, outcome, and oropharyngeal dysphagia. Conclusion This study analyzed the current literature on dysphagia via CiteSpace and identified its research hot spots and frontiers. The prevalent global trends in dysphagia research and the growing public awareness about healthcare and quality of life suggest that research on dysphagia will gain popularity with further breakthroughs.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The focus of research in the treatment of osteoporosis (OP) has evolved from promoting bone formation and inhibiting bone resorption to current stem cell therapy. Due to their multipotent differentiation properties, mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) can repair degenerated bones through transplantation, and have become a new method for the treatment of OP. METHODS Relevant literatures included in the Web of Science database core collection database from 2012 to 2021 were retrieved. CiteSpace software was used to analyze the cooperative relationship among authors, journals, institutions, and countries, and to analyze the co-citation situation of the literature. And performed co-occurrence analysis, cluster analysis and burst analysis of keywords, draw visual maps and analyzed the results. RESULTS A total of 2100 papers were included, and the number of papers published from 2012 to 2021 was on the rise. A total of 484 authors were included, and 176 authors published more than 3 papers. The high-yield authors were mainly represented by YAN JIN and BO GAO. A total of 99 journals were included, and the journal with the most publications was J BONE MINER RES. A total of 787 institutions were included, and the institution with the largest number of publications was Shanghai Jiao Tong University. A total of 65 countries were included. The country with the largest number of publications was China, and the United States had the highest centrality. The co-citation analysis of the literature found 2 articles with high citation frequency and high centrality. The main research direction was the mechanism of MSCs in the treatment of osteoporosis. A total of 133 keywords were included, and the hot keywords were osteogenic differentiation, expression, proliferation, bone marrow, etc. CONCLUSIONS The research hotspots in this field mainly focused on the mechanism of bone regeneration, proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow MSCs, and the expression of osteogenic-related genes. The future research trends in this field are predicted to be the mechanism of action of microRNA and long non-coding RNA on MSCs and their relationship with OP, the mechanism of MSCs adipogenic and osteogenic differentiation, and tissue engineering scaffolds applications.

Abstract
Objective Major trauma is currently a global public health issue with a massive impact on health at both the individual and population levels. However, there are limited bibliometric analyses on the management of major trauma. Thus, in this study we aimed to identify global research trends, dynamic structures, and scientific frontiers in the management of major trauma between 2012 and 2021. Methods We searched the Web of Science Core Collection to access articles and reviews concerning the management of major traumas and conducted a bibliometric analysis using CiteSpace. Results Overall, 2,585 studies were screened and published by 403 institutions from 110 countries/regions. The most productive country and institution in this field of research were the USA and Monash University, respectively. Rolf Lefering was the most prolific researcher and Holcomb JB had the most co-citations. Injury published the highest number of articles, and the Journal of Trauma was the most co-cited journal. A dual-map overlay of the literature showed that the articles of most publications were confined to the areas of medicine/medical/clinical and neurology/sports/ophthalmology. Document clustering indicated severe traumatic brain injury, traumatic coagulopathy, and resuscitative endovascular balloon occlusion as the recent hot topics. The most recent burst keywords were "trauma management," "neurocritical care," "injury severity," and "emergency medical services." Conclusion The dynamic structures and emerging trends in the management of major trauma were extensively analyzed using CiteSpace, a visualization software. Based on the analysis, the following research hotspots emerged: management of severe traumatic brain injury and massive hemorrhage, neurocritical care, injury severity, and emergency medical service. Our findings provide pertinent information for future research and contribute toward policy making in this field.

Abstract
BackgroundUp-to-date information about the trends of age-related hearing loss (ARHL) and how this varies between countries is essential to plan for an adequate health-system response. Therefore, this study aimed to assess the research hotpots and trends in ARHL and to provide the basis and direction for future research.Materials and methodsThe Web of Science Core Collection database was searched and screened according to the inclusion criteria during 2002–2021. Bibliometric analyses were conducted by CiteSpace (Chaomei Chen, Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA, United States) software and VOSviewer (Center for Science and Technology Studies, Leiden University, Leiden, The Netherlands) software.ResultsThe query identified 1,496 publications, which showed a growth trend of this filed. These publications were from 62 countries, the United States of America (United States) showed its tremendous impact on this field in publication outputs, total citations, and international collaborations, China following in second. The Journal of Hearing Research was the most productive journal. Weijia Kong published the most papers, and the most productive institution was Washington University. The keyword “presbycusis” ranked first in research frontiers and appeared earlier, and the keywords “age-related hearing loss,” “risk,” “dementia,” “auditory cortex,” “association,” and “decline” began to appear in recent years.ConclusionThe annual number of publications has grown rapidly in the past two decades and will continue to grow. Epidemiological investigation and laboratory research are lasting hot spots, besides future research will focus on the association between ARHL and cognitive decline, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease.

Abstract
BACKGROUND DNA methylation is a dynamically reversible form of epigenetics. Dynamic regulation plays an important role in cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). However, there have been few bibliometric studies in this field. We aimed to visualize the research results and hotspots of DNA methylation in CVDs using a bibliometric analysis to provide a scientific direction for future research. METHODS Publications related to DNA methylation in CVDs from January 1, 2001, to September 15, 2021, were searched and confirmed from the Web of Science Core Collection. CiteSpace 5.7 and VOSviewer 1.6.15 were used for bibliometric and knowledge-map analyses. RESULTS A total of 2617 publications were included in 912 academic journals by 15,584 authors from 963 institutions from 85 countries/regions. Among them, the United States of America, China, and England were the top 3 countries contributing to the field of DNA methylation. Harvard University, Columbia University, and University of Cambridge were the top 3 contributing institutions in terms of publications and were closely linked. PLoS One was the most published and co-cited journal. Baccarelli Andrea A published the most content, while Barker DJP had the highest frequency of co-citations. The keyword cluster focused on the mechanism, methyl-containing substance, exposure/risk factor, and biomarker. In terms of research hotspots, references with strong bursts, which are still ongoing, recently included "epigenetic clock" (2017-2021), "obesity, smoking, aging, and DNA methylation" (2017-2021), and "biomarker and epigenome-wide association study" (2019-2021). CONCLUSIONS We used bibliometric and visual methods to identify research hotspots and trends in DNA methylation in CVDs. Epigenetic clocks, biomarkers, environmental exposure, and lifestyle may become the focus and frontier of future research.

Abstract
Objectives To review the current research status of the neuroimaging of aphasia, and reveal the hotspots and frontiers of research in this field. Methods We searched articles related to the neuroimaging research on aphasia since Web of Science (WOS) database construction and extracted the data. CiteSpace and VOSviewer were used for the country/institution analysis, journal analysis, discipline analysis, burst keyword analysis and cited-reference cluster analysis. Results Of the studies retrieved from WOS, 2922 studies that related to the neuroimaging of aphasia were screened and finally included 2799 articles for research. The United States of America and University of California San Francisco were the main countries and institutions in this field. Brain had the highest impact factor in both published and cited journals. Through the discipline and topic analysis of this field, the most common category was Neurosciences and Neurology. The keyword with the strongest citation strength was “functional connectivity,” and the recent burst keywords were “functional connectivity” and “network.” The co-citation network showed seven clusters greater than 100. Among the top 5 clusters, the most recently formed cluster, Cluster #2 (progressive supranuclear palsy), had an average year of 2017. The literature in the top 5 clusters mainly focused on 3 aspects, specifically, the discovery of language processing models, injury and recovery mechanisms of post-stroke aphasia (PSA), and diagnosis of primary progressive aphasia (PPA) variants. Conclusion The results of this bibliometric study revealed the following three research hotspots in the neuroimaging of aphasia: clarifying the connotation of the most recognized language processing model, the dual-stream model, exploring the injury mechanism based on the dual-stream model and the recovery mechanism involving the left and right hemispheres of PSA, and determining the diagnostic criteria for PPA variants. A major research trend is to combine new neuroimaging technology, such as PET tracer technology, to realize the visual presentation of disease-specific proteins to improve the pathological diagnostic criteria of PPA variants. Accordingly, a visualized analysis of literature that uses CiteSpace provides a more rapid, repeatable and flexible method, which is more conducive to capturing research hotspots and emerging trends.
