Expression of hBD-1 (A, B) and hBD-2 (C, D) and hBD-3 (E, F) in patients with UC (A, C, E) and FAP (B, D, F). Control ileum was from healthy individuals. Ileum in UC was from patients with active UC but with completely normal ileum. Values represent mean ± SE.
