This study evaluates a simplified screening strategy for colorectal cancer by combining fecal calprotectin (FC) with a high-sensitivity quantitative fecal immunochemical test (hs-qFIT). The reported sensitivity of 87.5% for colorectal cancer suggests that this combined approach may improve noninvasive detection and could be valuable for the follow-up of low-risk patients.
