This systematic review and meta-analysis provide a comprehensive evaluation of the diagnostic performance of computer-aided diagnosis (CADx) systems for detecting and characterizing colorectal sessile serrated lesions (SSLs). Because SSLs play a pivotal role in the serrated neoplasia pathway of colorectal cancer and are frequently missed during routine colonoscopy, the study addresses a clinically important topic with direct implications for improving colorectal cancer detection and prevention.
