Abstract
Objective The objective of this study is to conduct a bibliometric analysis on examining the current condition, areas of interest, and rising trends of immunotherapy for osteosarcoma (ITFOS), as well as its importance in associated research domains. Methods An extensive collection of academic papers on the use of ITFOS was obtained from the Web of Science between January 1, 2000 and October 20, 2023. Then, using a variety of tools like HisCite, VOSviewer, CiteSpace, and the bibliometrix package, a bibliometric study was carried out. This study included the collection of information on country, institution, author, journal, and keywords. Results A comprehensive analysis was undertaken on a total of 616 publications obtained from 247 journals, encompassing the contributions of 3725 authors affiliated with 831 institutes spanning across 43 countries/regions. Notably, China exhibited the highest quantity of published 277 (44.99%) articles on ITFOS. The most productive institution was Zhejiang University, with 26 (4.22%) publications. The author with the highest publication output was Tsukahara, Tomohide from Japan with 15 (2.44%) publications. The article with the most citation was "DOI: 10.1200/JCO.2014.58.0225". Frontiers in Immunology demonstrated the highest level of productivity, having published a total of 31 (5.03%) articles. The most frequently used were "osteosarcoma," "immunotherapy," and "cancer,". Meanwhile, "sequencing", "prognostic signature" and "immune microenvironment" have been identified as the research frontiers for the forthcoming years. Conclusion This paper provides a thorough evaluation of current research trends and advancements in ITFOS. It includes relevant research findings and emphasizes collaborative efforts among authors, institutions, and countries.

Abstract
Cytokines, which are important to the tumor microenvironment (TME), play critical roles in tumor development, metastasis, and immune responses. Interleukin-17(IL-17) has emerged as a key biomarker in many malignancies; however, its precise involvement in gastric cancer is less fully understood. Elevated levels of IL-17 have been observed in stomach diseases such as Helicobacter pylori infection and autoimmune gastritis, indicating that a sustained Th17 response may precede the development of gastric cancer. While IL-17 is related to inflammatory processes that may lead to cancer, its specific influence on gastric cancer development and therapy needs to be completely understood. Specifically, the release of IL-17A by diverse immune cells has been associated with both tumor development and inhibition in gastric cancer. It may impact tumor development through mechanisms such as boosting cell proliferation, inducing angiogenesis, and enabling immune cell recruitment or, conversely, suppressing tumor growth via the activation of anti-tumor immune responses. The dual role of IL-17 in cancer, along with its various effects depending on the TME and immune cell composition, highlights the complexity of its activity. Current research reveals that although IL-17 might serve as a target for immunotherapy, its therapeutic potential is hindered by its various activities. Some studies have shown that anti-IL-17 drugs may be helpful, especially when paired with immune checkpoint inhibitors, whereas others point to concerns about the validity of IL-17 in gastric cancer therapy. The lack of clinical trials and the heterogeneity of human tumors underscore the necessity for individualized treatment approaches. Further studies are needed to identify the specific mechanisms of IL-17 in gastric cancer and to design targeted therapeutics appropriately.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Currently, there is a lack of effective indicators for predicting the efficacy of immunotherapy in patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). This study aimed to investigate the expression and prognostic value of peripheral T lymphocyte subsets in advanced HCC. METHODS Patients with advanced HCC who were treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) from December 2021 to December 2023 were included in the study. Flow cytometry was used to detect lymphocyte subsets before treatment. The patients were divided into disease control (DC) and nondisease control (nDC) groups based on treatment efficacy. Relationships between the clinical characteristics/peripheral T lymphocytes and immunotherapy efficacy were analyzed. The effectiveness of peripheral T lymphocyte subsets in predicting immunotherapy efficacy for patients with advanced HCC was analyzed using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves. RESULTS A total of 40 eligible patients were included in this study. Non-DC was significantly associated with higher albumin-bilirubin (ALBI) scores. The percentages of γδ+Vδ2+PD1+ T cells and γδ+Vδ2+Tim3+ T cells were greater in the nDC group than in the DC group. Multivariable regression analysis revealed that the ALBI score and T lymphocytes expressing γδ+Vδ2+PD1+ and γδ+Vδ2+Tim3+ were founded to be independent influencing factors. The area under the ROC curve (AUC) values for these combinations was 0.944 (95% CI, 0.882 ~ 1.000). CONCLUSIONS The calculation of the ALBI score and determination of the percentages CD3+γδ+Vδ2+PD1+ T lymphocytes and CD3+γδ+Vδ2+Tim3+ T lymphocytes in the peripheral blood of patients with advanced HCC are helpful for predicting the patients' responses to ICIs, helping to screen patients who may clinically benefit from immunotherapy. Abstract
BACKGROUND Low immune function after laparoscopic total gastrectomy puts patients at risk of infection-related complications. Low-dose naloxone (LDN) can improve the prognosis of patients suffering from chronic inflammatory diseases or autoimmune diseases. The use of LDN during perioperative procedures may reduce perioperative complications. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of LDN on endogenous immune function in gastric cancer patients and its specific mechanisms through a randomized controlled trial. METHODS Fifty-five patients who underwent laparoscopic-assisted total gastrectomy were randomly assigned to either a naloxone group (n = 23) or a nonnaloxone group (n = 22). Patients in the naloxone group received 0.05 µg/kg-1.h- 1naloxone from 3 days before surgery to 5 days after surgery via a patient-controlled intravenous injection (PCIA) pump, and patients in the nonnaloxone group did not receive special treatment. The primary outcomes were the rates of postoperative complications and immune function assessed by NK cell, CD3+ T cell, CD4+ T cell, CD8+ T cell, WBC count, neutrophil percentage, and IL-6 and calcitonin levels. The secondary outcomes were the expression levels of TLR4 (Toll-like receptor), IL-6 and TNF-α in gastric cancer tissue. RESULTS Compared with the nonnaloxone group, the naloxone group exhibited a lower incidence of infection (in the incision, abdomen, and lungs) (P < 0.05). The numbers of NK cells and CD8+ T cells in the naloxone group were significantly greater than those in the nonnaloxone group at 24 h after surgery (P < 0.05) and at 96 h after surgery (P < 0.05). Compared with those in the nonnaloxone group, the CD3 + T-cell (P < 0.05) and CD4 + T-cell (P < 0.01) counts were significantly lower in the naloxone group 24 h after surgery. At 24 h and 96 h after surgery, the WBC count (P < 0.05) and neutrophil percentage (P < 0.05) were significantly greater in the nonnaloxone group. The levels of IL-6 (P < 0.05) and calcitonin in the nonnaloxone group were significantly greater at 24 h after surgery. At 24 h following surgery, the nonnaloxone group had significantly greater levels of IL-6 (P < 0.05) and calcitonin than did the naloxone group. Compared with those in the naloxone group, the expression levels of TLR4 (P < 0.05) in gastric cancer tissue in the naloxone group were greater; however, the expression levels of IL-6 (P < 0.01) and TNF-α (P < 0.01) in the naloxone group were greater than those in the nonnaloxone group. CONCLUSION Laparoscopic total gastrectomy patients can benefit from 0.05 ug/kg- 1. h- 1 naloxone by reducing their risk of infection. It is possible that LDN alters the number of cells in lymphocyte subpopulations, such as NK cells, CD3 + T cells, and CD4 + T cells, and the CD4+/CD8 + T-cell ratio or alters TLR4 receptor expression in immune cells, thereby altering immune cell activity. Abstract
The roles of γδ T cells in liver cancer, especially in the potential function of immunotherapy due to their direct cytotoxic effects on tumor cells and secretion of important cytokines and chemokines, have aroused research interest. This review briefly describes the basic characteristics of γδ T cells, focusing on their diverse effects on liver cancer. In particular, different subtypes of γδ T cells have diverse or even opposite effects on liver cancer. We provide a detailed description of the immune regulatory network of γδ T cells in liver cancer from two aspects: immune components and nonimmune components. The interactions between various components in this immune regulatory network are dynamic and pluralistic, ultimately determining the biological effects of γδ T cells in liver cancer. We also integrate the current knowledge of γδ T-cell immunotherapy for liver cancer treatment, emphasizing the potential of these cells in liver cancer immunotherapy.

Abstract
Background Uterine leiomyosarcoma(uLMS) is a rare malignant tumor with low clinical specificity and poor prognosis.There are many studies related to uLMS, however, there is still a lack of metrological analyses with generalization. This study provides a bibliometric study of uLMS. Methods and materials We chose the Web of Science (WoS) as our main database due to its extensive interdisciplinary coverage. We specifically focused on the literature from the last 20 years to ensure relevance and practicality. By utilizing the WOS core dataset and leveraging the R package "bibliometric version 4.1.0" and Citespace, we performed a comprehensive bibliometric analysis. This allowed us to pinpoint research hotspots and create visual representations, resulting in the retrieval of 2489 pertinent articles. Results This literature review covers 2489 articles on uterine leiomyosarcoma (uLMS) from the past 20 years. Key findings include an average annual publication rate of 8.75, with a 6.07% yearly growth rate and an average citation count of 17.22. Core+Zone 2 sources contributed 1079 articles and 207 reviews, displaying a 4.98% annual growth rate. The analysis identified top journals, influential authors, and core sources, such as the prevalence of publications from the United States and the dominance of GYNECOLOGIC ONCOLOGY and HENSLEY ML. Bradford's Law and Lotka's Law highlighted core sources and author productivity, respectively. Thematic mapping and factorial analysis revealed research clusters, including etiology, diagnosis, treatment advancements, and surgical approaches, with prominent themes such as gemcitabine and docetaxel. Overall, this comprehensive analysis provides insights into uLMS literature trends and influential factors. Conclusion This thorough bibliometric analysis, in its whole, illuminates the field's guiding principles while also revealing the subtle patterns within the uLMS literature. The knowledge gained here contributes to the current discussion in uLMS and related scientific fields and provides a solid basis for future research paths.

Abstract
ABSTRACT γδ T cells are a kind of innate immune T cell. They have not attracted sufficient attention because they account for only a small proportion of all immune cells, and many basic factors related to these cells remain unclear. However, in recent years, with the rapid development of tumor immunotherapy, γδ T cells have attracted increasing attention because of their ability to exert cytotoxic effects on most tumor cells without major histocompatibility complex (MHC) restriction. An increasing number of basic studies have focused on the development, antigen recognition, activation, and antitumor immune response of γδ T cells. Additionally, γδ T cell-based immunotherapeutic strategies are being developed, and the number of clinical trials investigating such strategies is increasing. This review mainly summarizes the progress of basic research and the clinical application of γδ T cells in tumor immunotherapy to provide a theoretical basis for further the development of γδ T cell-based strategies in the future.

Abstract
Objective The objective of this study is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the present status, areas of focus, and upcoming developments in the research of anesthetic drugs and their impact on immune function, along with other related research domains. Methods From January 1, 2008 to June 9, 2023, A thorough exploration of anesthetic drug-related literature pertaining to immune function was carried out through the utilization of the Web of Science. The bibliometric analysis was predominantly executed by means of CiteSpace, GraphPad Prism 8.0, and the acquisition of data regarding the country, institution, author, journal, and keywords associated with each publication. Results This study analyzed a comprehensive total of 318 publications, consisting of 228 articles and 90 reviews, to determine the publication output of anesthetic drugs on immune function. Notably, China exhibited the highest publication output with (109, 34.28%) articles. Among the institutions analyzed, Harvard University was found to be the most productive with (12, 3.77%) publications. The study findings indicate that Buggy, Donal J (5, 1.57%) and Yuki, Koichi (5, 1.57%) had the highest publication records. Anesthesiology was the most frequently cited journal with a total of (206) citations. The results also revealed that "surgery" was the most frequently used keyword, appearing (48 times), followed by "general anesthesia" (41 times) and "breast cancer" (37 times). The study has identified several current areas of interest, with a particular emphasis on "metastasis", "inflammation", "recurrence", "anesthesia technique", and "induction". It is anticipated that forthcoming research endeavors will concentrate on exploring the impacts of isoflurane, sevoflurane, and ketamine on immune function. Conclusion This study provided a thorough analysis of the research trends and developments in investigating the impact of anesthetic drugs on immune function, incorporating pertinent research and collaborative entities such as authors, institutions, and countries.

Abstract
Bibliometric studies on inherited metabolic diseases (IMDs) do not exist in the literature. Therefore, our research aims to conduct a bibliometric study to determine the current status, trending topics, and missing points of publications on IMDs. Between 1968 and 2023, we conducted a literature search with the keyword "inherited metabolic disease" in the SCOPUS database. We included research articles in medicine written in English and published in the final section. We created our data pool using VOSviewer, SciMAT, and Rstudio software programs for the bibliometric parameters of the articles that met the inclusion criteria. We performed a bibliometric analysis of the data with the R package "bibliometrix" and BibExcel programs. We included 2702 research articles published on IMDs. The top three countries that have written the most articles in this field are the USA (n = 501), the United Kingdom (n = 182), and China (n = 172). The most preferred keywords by the authors were: newborn screening (n = 54), mutation (n = 43), phenylketonuria (n = 42), children (n = 35), genetics (n = 34), and maple syrup urine disease (n = 32). Trending topics were osteoporosis, computed tomography, bone marrow transplantation in the early years of the study, chronic kidney disease, urea cycle disorders, next-generation sequencing, newborn screening, and familial hypercholesterolemia in the final years of the study. This study provides clinicians with a new perspective, showing that molecular and genetic studies of inherited metabolic diseases will play an essential role in diagnosis and treatment in the future.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Cirrhosis results from persistent liver injury that leads to liver fibrosis. Immunological factors play important regulatory roles in the development and progression of cirrhosis. Bibliometrics is one of the most commonly used methods for systematic evaluation of a field of study. To date, there are no bibliometric studies on the role of immunological factors in cirrhosis.
AIM To provide a comprehensive overview of the knowledge structure and research hotspots of immunological factors in cirrhosis.
METHODS We retrieved publications related to immunological factors in cirrhosis between 2003 to 2022 from the Web of Science Core Collection database on December 7, 2022. The search strategy was TS = ((Liver Cirrhosis OR hepatic cirrhosis OR liver fibrosis) AND (Immunologic* Factor* OR Immune Factor* OR Immunomodulator* OR Biological Response Modifier* OR Biomodulator*)). Only original articles and reviews were included. A total of 2873 publications were analyzed using indicators of publication and citation metrics, countries, institutes, authors, journals, references, and keywords by CiteSpace and VOSviewer.
RESULTS A total of 5104 authors from 1173 institutions across 51 countries published 2873 papers on cirrhosis and immunological factors in 281 journals. In the past 20 years, the increasing number of related annual publications and citations indicates that research on immunological factors in cirrhosis has become the focus of attention and has entered a period of accelerated development. The United States (781/27.18%), China (538/18.73%), and Germany (300/10.44%) were the leading countries in this field. Most of the top 10 authors were from the United States (4) and Germany (3), with Gershwin ME contributing the most related articles (42). World Journal of Gastroenterology was the most productive journal, whereas Hepatology was the most co-cited journal. Current research hotspots regarding immunological factors in cirrhosis include fibrosis, cirrhosis, inflammation, liver fibrosis, expression, hepatocellular carcinoma, activation, primary biliary cirrhosis, disease, and hepatic stellate cells. Burst keywords (e.g., epidemiology, gut microbiota, and pathways) represent research frontiers that have attracted the interest of researchers in recent years.
CONCLUSION This bibliometric study comprehensively summarizes the research developments and directions of immunological factors in cirrhosis, providing new ideas for promoting scientific research and clinical applications.
