A clinical safety gate applies confidence thresholds, out-of-distribution alerts, fail-safe abstention, audit logging, and immediate physician override. The endoscopist retains final interpretive and therapeutic authority and integrates the output with endoscopic, endosonographic, clinical, and procedural information.
