It compares metrics of healthcare utilization. Frail patients had significantly prolonged hospital length of stay (5.6 ± 1.9 days vs 3.9 ± 1.5 days; P < 0.001) and a higher 90-day readmission rate (17.0% vs 4.2%; adjusted odds ratio = 4.74, P < 0.001) compared to non-frail controls.
