Figure 1 Receiver operating characteristic curves of the triglyceride-glucose index and the atherogenic index of plasma for discriminating colorectal adenoma presence. The triglyceride-glucose index demonstrated the highest discriminatory performance (area under the curve = 0.714), followed by the atherogenic index of plasma (area under the curve = 0.664). Optimal cut-off values were determined using the Youden index. ROC: Receiver operating characteristic; TyG: Triglyceride-glucose; AIP: Atherogenic index of plasma.
