Continuous variables were compared using the Mann-Whitney U test. Higher mean rank values indicate higher levels of the corresponding variable. Effect size r was calculated as |Z|/√n. Analyses were performed using complete-case data for each parameter because laboratory availability varied across patients in this retrospective cohort.
