The χ² test was used to analyze the association between Child-Pugh classification and the categorical variable (FibroScan stages); the Kruskal-Wallis test was used to compare the differences in continuous variables (aspartate aminotransferase to platelet ratio index, gamma-glutamyl transferase to platelet ratio index, fibrosis-4 index, aspartate aminotransferase to alanine aminotransferase ratio) among different Child-Pugh classification groups.
