The χ² test was used to analyze the association between gender and liver stiffness measurement results; the Wilcoxon rank-sum test was used to compare the differences in these continuous variables (aspartate aminotransferase to platelet ratio index, gamma-glutamyl transferase to platelet ratio index, fibrosis-4 index, aspartate aminotransferase to alanine aminotransferase ratio) between the female and male groups.
