Cut-off: The variceal grade threshold provides the best balance between sensitivity and specificity. Sensitivity: The ability to correctly identify patients with high-risk varices. Specificity: The ability to correctly exclude patients without high-risk varices. AUC: Area under the curve; PPV: Positive predictive value; NPV: Negative predictive value.
