Figure 1 This figure illustrates a two-step enzymatic digestion of adipose tissue using collagenase type IV to isolate stromal vascular fractions. The first digestion yields stromal vascular fraction 1, and the residual tissue undergoes a second digestion to obtain stromal vascular fraction 2. Both fractions were collected after centrifugation and used for downstream assays such as viability testing, flow cytometry, and gene expression analysis.
