Allyl isothiocyanate activates vitamin D receptor to activate the hepatocyte nuclear factor 4 alpha/microsomal triglyceride transfer protein/apolipoprotein B signaling pathway, inhibits lipogenesis, promotes fatty acid β-oxidation, and improves insulin resistance, alleviating metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
