The modified systemic inflammation score was calculated based on preoperative serum albumin and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio. Cut-off values for serum albumin and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio were determined using receiver operating characteristic curve analysis in the training cohort. mSIS: Modified systemic inflammation score; NLR: Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio.
