Two diverticula contain contrast medium without evidence of extravasation outside the sigmoid; B: “Severe” CT diverticulitis with extravasation of contrast and small amount of extraluminal air (arrow). This patient was initially managed non-operatively and eventually required surgery for recurrent disease.
