Of note, NFAT2 was exclusively located in cytoplasm of LMPCs of normal colon mucosa as well as LMPCs of CD affected colonic mucosa, whereas NFAT2 was primarily located in the nuclei of LMPCs of the UC affected colonic mucosa.
