Lysophosphatidic acid transactivates both c-Met and epidermal growth factor receptor, and induces cyclooxygenase-2 expression in human colon cancer LoVo cells

Figure 5 Inhibition of LPA-induced proliferation of LoVo cells by NS398, a COX-2 inhibitor. Human colon cancer LoVo cells, after being pretreated with DMSO or NS398, were seeded with the indicated concentrations of LPA. After incubation for 120 h, the cell proliferation was measured using MTS assay. Data are expressed as a percentage of control, where control indicates cell proliferation in the absence of LPA without NS398 pretreatment (100%).
