Spearman correlation. Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) correlated with calcium levels (r = 0.313; P = 0.049) and phosphorus levels (r = 0.384, P = 0.015) only in peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients. Overall [both PD and hemodialysis (HD) patients], NLR correlated only with phosphorus levels (r = 0.349, P = 0.001). There was no significant correlation between carotid intima-media thickness and intact parathyroid hormone in PD patients (r = -0.219; P = 0.158) and HD patients (r = -0.180; P = 0.267). PD: Peritoneal dialysis; HD: Hemodialysis; cIMT: Carotid intima-media thickness; PTH: Parathyroid hormone; NLR: Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio; FGF-23: Fibroblast growth factor 23.
