Celecoxib inhibits the cyclooxygenase-2 enzyme, reducing the production of prostaglandin E2 at the site of inflammation. Duloxetine increases serotonin and norepinephrine in the synaptic cleft, reinforcing the descending inhibitory pathway. COX-2: Cyclooxygenase-2.
