This table compares the baseline demographic and clinical characteristics between the two groups. Continuous variables (age, years of education, body mass index, disease duration) were analyzed using independent samples t-tests, while categorical variables (gender, Clinical Dementia Rating classification, complications) were analyzed using χ² tests. The results showed no statistically significant differences between the control group and the combined group in any of the baseline variables (all P > 0.05), indicating that the two groups were comparable at baseline.
