Figure 2 Images of T-RV-7 orange cone used to mark public works zones in Montreal: The T-RV-7 model is a channelizing drum (or construction cone) used for road signaling, made of bright orange polyethylene with white or orange retro-reflective bands, ensuring 360° visibility in work zones. In urban environments such as Montreal, this cone has become almost a visual symbol of the city’s perpetual construction, marking areas of roadwork, street repairs, and public works, while representing both immobility and efficiency within the city. A: Downtown Montreal; B: St Cunégonde street, Montreal.
