Three mutually adjusted glycemic indicators (fasting plasma glucose, fructosamine, and glycated hemoglobin) were modeled as competing exposures influencing four upstream multi-system pathways composites (lipid, blood pressure, inflammation, and nutrition), which in turn acted through two proximal coagulation mediators-Coag (Substrate) and Coag (Time)-to affect hypercoagulable status (D-dimer > 0.5 μg/mL).
