Figure 4 Transdifferentiation of fibroblast into carcinoma associated fibroblast in oral squamous cell carcinoma. Mutual paracrine effect between oral cancer cells and normal fibroblasts is responsible for transdifferentiation of the latter into malignant fibroblasts.
