Cure rate difference refers to the difference in cure rates between the subgroup and the control group (e.g., the open surgery group vs the total laparoscopic resection group). Statistical power calculation was based on Cohen’s h formula (α = 0.05). In the subgroup with tumor ≥ 6 cm and grade III adhesions, the statistical power (1-β) is 0.75 (with α = 0.05), which necessitates cautious interpretation of the conclusion regarding the advantages of laparoscopy.
