Percentages were calculated using the number of procedures with documented endoscopic indications within each specialty (gastroenterology, n = 1003; general surgery, n = 368). Because only procedures with available indication data were included, percentages do not represent the entire study cohort. Group comparisons were performed using the χ² test.
