High-volume surgeons achieved significantly lower local recurrence rates compared to low-volume surgeons [odds ratio (OR) = 0.58], with intermediate-volume surgeons showing intermediate outcomes. High-volume hospitals similarly demonstrated reduced local recurrence vs low-volume centers (OR = 0.66), with the effect remaining significant after adjusting for surgeon volume. 95%CI: 95% confidence interval.
