The segmented linear regression model utilized aggregated quarterly data from January 2019 to December 2024. A negative estimate for the “Level Change” indicates a robust, immediate acceleration in gastrointestinal recovery (shorter time to flatus) exactly coinciding with the implementation of the Watson-fast track surgery pathway, independent of the nonsignificant underlying secular trends.
