Backward elimination method was used to screen variables, with P < 0.05 as variable retention standard. Variables included in initial model were age, body mass index, Child-Pugh grade, degree of cirrhosis, tumor diameter (≥ 8 cm vs < 8 cm), tumor number, central tumor, intraoperative blood loss (≥ 600 mL vs < 600 mL), operation time (≥ 300 minutes vs < 300 minutes), application of combined navigation technology, and other variables with P < 0.10 in univariate analysis. Tumor diameter ≥ 8 cm was excluded during variable screening process because P > 0.05, and was not retained in the final model. OR: Odds ratio; CI: Confidence interval.
