The upper row shows the odds ratio and 95% confidence interval of risk analysis, and the middle row shows the P value of difference comparisons, the lower row shows the power of test. The incidence of enterocolitis did not differ between the two groups, and the risk of ileus was not significant; however, perianal dermatitis and defecation dysfunction were lower in the enhanced recovery after surgery group than in the control group (P < 0.05). Thus, the enhanced recovery after surgery protocol is helpful in reducing the incidence of some postoperative complications in infants and children with Hirschsprung disease. aP < 0.05, risk analysis.
