Figure 1 Possible future directions of exosomal miR-375-3p-mediated pancreas-liver communication in type 2 diabetes. Conceptual model summarizing current experimental observations, key unresolved questions, and hypothesized future implications of exosomal miR-375-3p-mediated pancreas-liver communication in type 2 diabetes. While mechanistic insights have been obtained in preclinical models, the relevance of this pathway in humans and its potential clinical significance remain to be determined.
