Model 5 adjusted for model 4 covariables plus race, cardiovascular disease history, previous hypertension, duration of diabetes, proteinuria, heart failure, depression, living alone, education, smoke, alcohol, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, hazard ratio, glycated hemoglobin, total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein, estimated glomerular filtration rate, alanine aminotransferase. Model 6 adjusted for model 5 covariables plus the medications use, calcium channel blockers, beta-blockers, biguanides, insulins, aspirin, statins, cholesterol absorption inhibitors.
