Assistant Professor Palittiya Sintusek is lecturer and consultant of pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. Assistant Professor Palittiya Sintusek graduated medical degree (MD) from Chulalongkorn University and MSc from University College London (UCL), UK. Assistant Professor Palittiya Sintusek was awarded Bill Marshall fellowship at Great Ormond Street hospital, was a clinical attachment at King’s College Hospital and was a research fellowship at Dubowitz Neuromuscular disease, UCL after her MSc training. Her clinical and research interests are focus on neurogastroenterology and motility, Wilson disease and viral hepatitis. She received many young investigator and best abstract awards from APASL, APPSPGHAN, ATW, ANMA, KSNM and WCPGHAN. She has been the committee of APPSPGHAN and international memberships of ESPGHAN, BSPGHAN, UEG and AASLD. Assistant Professor Palittiya Sintusek has co-led the implementation of clinical practice guideline for functional constipationin children in Thailand and has ongoing researches in aspect of neurogastroenterology and motility in children. Recently, she is the head of the Thai Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Immunology (TPGHAI) Research Unit focusing on immunologic aspect in children with liver and gastrointestinal diseases and liver-transplanted children.
