Dr. Chang-Zhong Jin is an expert in the field of virus infection and immunology. Dr. Jin is best known in the community of HIV/AIDS research for his research on host factors that can inhibit HIV-1 infection in immune cells. He did a lot of pioneer work on HIV host restriction factor SAMHD1 and its role in HIV-1 infection. Dr. Jin’s another work is about new technologies to develop single domain antibodies (also called nanobodies), which is focused on early diagnosis and immune therapy of cancers.
