Dr. Liu is a senior thoracic surgeon in the central hospital of Wuhan, Tongji medical college, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. Having received his master degree from Medical college of Nanjing University in 2000, Dr. Liu got his medical doctor degree in 2010 from Tongji medical college, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He had worked as a military surgeon in the department of cardiothoracic surgery in Wuhan general hospital of PLA from 2000 to 2017. After a short period working in Zhongnan hospital, Wuhan University, he came to join the team of thoracic department in the central hospital of Wuhan in Jan, 2018 . His ongoing basic research interests are endogenous organic protection including prevention of acute lung injury, myocardial protection. In clinics, he focuses on prevention and treatment on primary spotaneous pneumothorax, minimal invasive surgical treatment on thoracic malignat tumors such as esophogeal cancer and lung cancer are the main . He is a member of the editorial boards and a reviewer of several scientific journals, and has published more than 20 peer-reviewed articles.
