Liliana Belgioia MD is a University Research at University of Genoa, Italy. She was born in Genoa, Italy on 5 October 1980, graduated in Medicine in 2007 and board in radiation oncology in 2014. From 2009 to 2011 she gained expertise in breast cancer and especially in partial breast radiation therapy (IORT); from 2011 to 2013 she was involved in stereotactic body radiotherapy (thoracic malignancies) and from 2013 in pelvic and head and neck cancer. From February 2015 she is assistant professor in radiotherapy. From 2009 she is member of Italian Association for Radiation Oncology (AIRO) and European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) and from 2012 of Italian Association of Radiobiology (AIRB). She attended to several national and international conference and courses. Invited speaker to national congresses. She is author or co-author of several published original research articles. She participated in recruiting and managing patients for clinical trials. Main research field of interest: head and neck cancer, supportive care, radiobiology, palliative radiotherapy, and IMRT.
