My name is Dang Shuang-Suo, 59 years old, holding a Doctor of Medicine degree. I am a professor, chief physician, researcher, and doctoral supervisor. Currently, I serve as the Director of the Department of Infectious Diseases, of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University and head of the National Drug Clinical Trial Institution's Infectious Disease Specialist Base. I also hold concurrent positions as the Deputy Chairman of the Integration of Infection and Prevention Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Association, a standing committee member of the Infectious Disease Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a standing committee member of the Translational Medicine Branch of the China Association for Quality Control of Pharmaceuticals, a standing committee member of the Tumor Drug Research Professional Committee of the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and an expert reviewer for National New Drug Evaluations, National Major New Drug Evaluations, and National Science and Technology Award Evaluations. I am additionally a member of the Hepatology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Collaborative Group on Genetic and Metabolic Liver Diseases of the Hepatology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Branch of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, the Deputy Chairman of the Key Infectious Disease Specialist Committee of Shaanxi Province, and the leader of the Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease Prevention and Control Expert Group. I serve as the Chairman of the Hepatology Branch of the Xi'an Medical Association, a council member of the Shaanxi Provincial Senior Experts Association, and a national committee member of the National Collaboration Group for Severe Liver Diseases, Artificial Liver, and Blood Purification Research. Currently, I am leading three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and am involved in 21 research projects funded by national, ministerial, and provincial scientific research funds. I have published over 200 academic papers, including more than 80 SCI-indexed papers, and have edited four monographs. I have received one first-class scientific and technological award, two second-class awards in Shaanxi Province, and one third-class award. I have supervised the research of over 30 doctoral and master's students. My research focuses on the basic and clinical aspects of liver diseases, infections, and immunology, as well as exploring the mechanisms and development of traditional Chinese medicine for liver disease prevention and treatment.
