Dr. Iman had obtained her MD Public Health, and Preventive Medicine in 1994 and MSc in Pediatrics in 1997 from Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Egypt. She got training course on "Research methods for policy formulation and evaluation" American University in Cairo in 2001 and on “Basic Data Analysis and Logistic regression analysis on STATA”, at Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University in Collaboration of Institute Pasteur, Paris France 2009. She was a member of project formulation committee-NRC 2009 to 2011. Her primary interests lie on Child health, Epidemiological studies for communicable (especially viral hepatitis) and non-communicable diseases (diabetes mellitus and hypertension). She was a principal investigator for 6 projects (two funded by STDF, one of them was a national community based), Co-PI/member in 18 projects (of them, 2 funded by WHO, 4 funded by STDF and 2 funded by UNICF). She got an award for scientific encouragement for the NRC year 2004. She participated in several international Conferences as speaker. Dr. Iman has sixty two published national and international papers (25 papers on Scopus). She is a reviewer in 10 international journals and was in the editorial board of 2 international J. She is now a member of monitoring, sorting, and evaluation of In-house Research Projects' Committee since November 2014. She is a reviewer for STDF.
