Dr.Kar is a life-fellow of Indian Psychiatric Society as well as IPS-Central zone. He is working as Additional Professor of Psychiatry at king George’s Medical University, Lucknow. He had more than 300 publications in various national & international peer reviewed journals. He is also a peer reviewer of various national and international journals. He is the Editor-in-chief of Indian Journal of Health, sexuality and culture and Guest Associate Editor in Public Mental Health (Frontiers). He is the editorial board member of Global Psychiatry, Journal-of-child-and-adolescent-mental-health and MJDYPV.
